About Chicagoland Dog Training

A Thoughtful, Results-Driven Approach to Dog Training

Chicagoland Dog Training was built on the belief that successful training starts with understanding the dog in front of you. Every dog has a unique temperament, learning style, and history, which is why our approach is never generic or rushed. We focus on clear communication, consistency, and realistic expectations to create lasting results that work in everyday life.

Alex Ross

Trainer

Alexandra Ross is one of our wonderful trainers here at Chicagoland Dog Training. Alex has a sweet nature, calm presence, and endless patience, qualities that make her especially gifted at working with our fuzzy students as they learn their commands and build confidence. She has a true love for teaching dogs and takes great pride in helping each one succeed at their own pace.

Outside of training, Alex follows her passion for animals by volunteering at a local farm, expressing her creativity through painting, and attending school to become a veterinary technician. She is always learning, growing, and expanding her knowledge to better serve the dogs in her care.

We are incredibly grateful to have Alex as part of our team and our dogs are lucky to learn from someone who cares so deeply about them.

Training That Goes Beyond Commands

Dog training is about more than teaching sit, stay, or heel. It’s about building trust, structure, and confidence for both dogs and their owners. Our programs are designed to address real-world behaviors, strengthen the dog-owner relationship, and help dogs thrive in the environments they live in every day. We emphasize practical skills that translate beyond the training session and into long-term success.
